Paint is very fragile

We painted an accent wall with Safecoat in the FLAT finish. While the wall looks great, if we touch the wall at all, it leaves a mark. Even furniture pads ruined the wall where they touched the paint. I did speak with someone at Fullerton paint and they were very helpful at explaining that the flat paint is just very fragile and they usually recommend a higher sheen on walls. It was my fault for not researching before painting but I would not recommend the FLAT finish at all. It cannot be wiped or touched up well without showing imperfections.
